TiVo Repair Service
Pacelink provides a repair service for the UK TiVo, with hard drive replacement and component level rebuilds to the main board. Your recordings and setup data can be transferred for no extra charge.
Lightning damage will require the replacement of a number of parts on the TiVo mainboard and the list is so unpredictable that it is best to send the TiVo here for an accurate repair quotation, usually within 3 days. Please don't keep your TiVo running if you know it has suffered damage during a thunderstorm as other parts of the mainboard will be under extra stress. Symptoms of a damaged board would often be intermittent loss of audio, picture disturbances and random re-booting.

A complete replacement mainboard can be supplied, subject to availability.

It is important to include your contact details with a daytime telephone number and as much information about the fault as possible.

Pack your TiVo carefully and insure the carriage. Royal Mail Special Delivery have an excellent next day service to Northern Ireland, usually faster than sending a parcel from London to Birmingham !

Don't send any accessories (cables, handset etc.) unless they are a part of the problem.

Q: How long will it take to repair?
A: Most are repaired within 3 working days, subject to availability of spare parts.

Q: Will I lose my recordings and personal settings?
A: Only if we have to replace a faulty hard drive from which data cannot be recovered.

Q: What if I do not want to proceed with the repair?
A: You only pay £35 + return carriage and VAT.

Q: I have a 'lifetime subscription' - will it still be valid?
A: We don't just swap boards. Your board will be repaired to component level, your serial number will not change.
